Anna Arstein-Kerslake

Academic Convenor, Hallmark Disability Research Initiative, The University of Melbourne

Anna is a Lecturer at Melbourne Law School (MLS). She is the founder and Coordinator of the Disability Human Rights Clinic at MLS and is also the Academic Convenor of the Hallmark Disability Research Initiative across all faculties at the University of Melbourne. She has a PhD in Law from the National University of Ireland, Galway, a Juris Doctorate (JD) from the City University of New York (CUNY), and a BA in Sociology from San Diego State University (SDSU). Her area of expertise is Disability Human Rights Law and she has served as an adviser on the topic to organizations such as the UN Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD), the World Health Organization (WHO), and domestic governments around the world.
