I am a senior lecturer in Curriculum and Professional Issues for Teachers at Murdoch University.

My research interests include educational policy and curriculum change at a national and global level, with a particular focus on how these impact on teachers and the nature of teachers’ work.

I am also interested in teacher unionism and the history of teachers’ work in Western Australia.
