Anthony Otome Okeregbe

Senior Lecturer of Philosophy, University of Lagos

Dr. Tony Okeregbe (https://orcid.org/0000-0003-4188-2858), journalist and editorial writer, is a senior lecturer in the Department of Philosophy and an affiliate of the Institute of African and Diaspora Studies at the University of Lagos, where he also earned his PhD in 2004.
A University of Edinburgh Catalyst Fellow (2019), he is a member of the African Studies Association of Italy (ASAI), an associate member of the Council for Research in Values and Philosophy (CRVP), Washington DC, USA, and a resource person of Lux Terra Leadership Foundation, Abuja, Nigeria. He was a features editor (Sunday) of The Guardian, Lagos, Nigeria, where he is presently a visiting member of the Editorial Board. His academic interest in African studies and existential philosophy led him to venture into research on religious life in Africa and issues around the African predicament, areas in which he is widely published.
