Senior Lecturer in French and Politics, Northumbria University, Newcastle

Ariane studied English, politics and European law in France. Between 1996 and 1997 she was a language assistant at the University of Wolverhampton. She was appointed Lecturer in French in Modern Languages in 1997.

Ariane’s research interests lie in European identities (Europe in Jules Romains' work, representation of minorities, Turkey and France, Erasmus students) , French politics, the use of new technologies in politics and e-learning.
