Atoko Kasongo

Atoko is a Lecturer and currently pursuing her PhD in Economics at UWC. Her dissertation is on the role of savings in the South African economy. The aim of the dissertation is to assess how savings can boost and sustain South Africa's economic growth while decreasing the country's dependency on capital flows. Atoko's research interest is development finance and labour economics. She holds a MEcon and B.A (Economics) degrees.
