Dr Aurel Sari is an Associate Professor of Public International Law at the University of Exeter. His work focuses on questions of operational law, including the law of armed conflict, the legal status of foreign armed forces and the application of human rights law in deployed operations. He has published widely on these subjects and lectures regularly on the international law and military operations in the UK and abroad.
