Barrie Pittock

In 2003, Barrie edited and wrote a major report Climate Change: An Australian Guide to the Science and Potential Impacts, for the Australian Greenhouse Office and in 2004-5 wrote book Climate Change: Turning Up the Heat, for CSIRO Publishing and Earthscan. The latter was updated and renamed as Climate Change: The Science, Impacts and Solutions in 2009.

He was a Lead author of the IPCC Fourth Assessment Report (2007) chapter on key vulnerabilities in Working Group II. Dr. Pittock is currently on the editorial board of the journal Climatic Change and previously served on the boards of Natural Hazards and International Journal of Climatology, and has served on various national and international committees.
