My research interests are loosely based around digital inequalities and digital divides research. I currently focus on including a broader range of factors related to internet non-use, and low use of the internet. My research goes beyond the classic socio-economic factors, as it seeks to embed non-use into a broader setting that includes psychological factors, attitudes, and the national and regional contexts of non-use. My studies often include a mix of quantitative and qualitative methods to disentangle micro- and macro-factors related to digital inequalities. I have a strong interest in cross-national research and vulnerable groups.
