Bing Zhang is a professor of astrophysics in Department of Physics and Astronomy, University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). He has been working in the field of astrophysics since 1994. After getting his Ph.D. from Peking University in 1997, he worked at NASA GSFC and Penn State University as a postdoc before joining UNLV faculty in 2004. He has published more than 300 refereed papers in professional journals.
