Research Fellow, Southern Cross University

Brent Moyle was awarded his PhD from Monash University in 2010, with his doctoral research focusing on the impacts of tourism on Australian islands. Brent’s research interests include protected area management and marketing, visitor communication, sustainability, the impacts of tourism on communities and the environment, behaviour change, policy and planning, amateur athletes as well as tourism postgraduate dissertations. Brent is currently working on an Australian Research Council (ARC) Linkage project titled ‘Promoting and Managing National Parks into the 21st Century’, which aims to improve our understanding of the place of parks in society, building on and improving theories, methodologies and instruments for positioning and managing parks and visitors to parks.
