I earned my Ph.D. in Educational Psychology and Educational Technology from Michigan State University, and I’m currently an Assistant Professor of Curriculum, Instruction, and Foundations at Marshall University. I teach courses in educational psychology and the psychology of social media, a course I developed in 2014 and which is one of the only courses of its kind in the world. I am researching ways K–12 science teachers learn science from their own teaching practice as well as the impacts of educating college students on the psychology of social media.
