Computing Education Specialist, University of Sydney

As a Computing Education Specialist at the Australian Academy, Bruce designs and develops resources to support teachers with the delivery of the Digital Technologies subject in the Australian Curriculum. Before working for the Academy, he was acting as the Associate Principal of a government senior secondary college in the ACT. Bruce has many years of experience teaching in secondary schools, and was and adviser and writer of the Australian Curriculum: Technologies. He was the 2016 ACCE/ACS Australian ICT Educator of the Year, and founding President of Information Technology Educators ACT. He holds a Master of Education, and undergraduate degrees in Information Technology and Economics.
