I have a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) and a Bachelor of Health Science (Public Health and Anatomy & Human Biology) from The University of Western Australia. In 2011 I was a Research Associate to two judges in the WA Court of Appeal. In 2012 I completed a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice and was admitted to practise in the Supreme Court of Western Australia. After leaving private practice, I commenced my role as Legal Policy Advisor at Cancer Council Western Australia. I provide policy advice on a range of public health issues, including tobacco control, liquor control, skin cancer prevention, obesity & overweight and asbestos regulation. I have authored 3 peer-reviewed articles and am Associate Investigator in relation to research on e-cigarettes, led by the WA Cancer Prevention Research Unit at Curtin University
