I study regulatory systems, i.e. nervous system, immune system, endocrine system and gut microbiome. My particular interest is the way in which chronic stress leads to chronic inflammatory disease. My group does therapeutic target identification, with the aim of preventative intervention, using mainly natural product supplementation.
