PhD candidate in Arts/Philosophy, University of Tasmania

I have held various media and production positions in the arts, including: sponsorship at international Sydney festivals, representing Broadway, Hollywood and West End actors and creative personnel as an agent and publicist, and more recently publishing work as an arts reviewer and researcher.

Since graduating with a Bachelor of Arts (Communication - Theatre / Media) from Charles Sturt University in 2006, I have completed the CSU Master of Arts (Cultural Event Management - 2012) and am currently undertaking an inter-disciplinary PhD in Arts/Philosophy with the University of Tasmania.

My research investigates the implications of the ways reality television displaces creativity, using hermeneutic philosophy as a framework for addressing the corporate relationship to truth, to ethics and ultimately to the role of art in the 21st century.
