Carolyn Kaloostian

Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine, University of Southern California

Carolyn Kaloostian, MD, MPH is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Family Medicine and Geriatrics.

She graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles where she received her Doctor of Medicine, her Executive MPH in Healthcare Management and Policy, and a Global Health Certificate. Dr. Kaloostian completed her family medicine residency at USC from 2009-2012, followed by two fellowships: in Geriatrics at UCLA in 2013 and in Hospice and Palliative Medicine with the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in 2014.

She cares deeply about serving her community, advancing medical knowledge, and increasing access to preventative care. She continues to participate in the Armenian Bone Marrow Registry Organization, is an active member in the AMA serving as the vice-chair for its Resident-Fellow Committee on Scientific Research between 2010 and 2012, and has her research published in many peer-reviewed journals.
