Carolyne Lee

Dr Carolyne Lee is an author and translator, and former Senior Lecturer in Media and Communications in the School of Culture and Communication in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Melbourne, now an independent researcher. She has published articles on media language in Australia, the US, UK, France, the Netherlands and China. Her latest books are The Seduction of Fiction (as translator), Our Very Own Adventure: Towards a Poetics of the Short Story (2011), and Word Bytes: Writing in the Information Society (2009), both published by Melbourne University Press.
