PhD Candidate, University of Bath

I have a background in social anthropology, and my current research focusses on social care support for people with learning disabilities, including the social, political and economic foundations of policy making and how these aspects are interpreted and played out through people’s everyday lives. More broadly, this is about the nature of care for vulnerable people, including how impairment and dependency impacts on social relations and ultimately what it means to be human.
