Professor of Tudor and Renaissance Literature, University of Sheffield

I research sixteenth- and seventeenth-century literature and culture, including less canonical writers and forms of writing, and the intersections between literature and politics. Current projects include a monograph about dialogue (non-dramatic works written in the form of a conversation) and an edition of Shakespeare's Poems.
