Charlie Rozier gained his BA (First Class honours) from the University of Kent in 2006, before going on to study for an MA (2008) and a PhD in Medieval History (2014) at Durham University. He was appointed Lecturer in Medieval History at Swansea University in 2016.
He is an historian of medieval thought, with a particular focus on how medieval communities preserved and interacted with their past. He has published on the Anglo-Norman historians Orderic Vitalis, Symeon of Durham and Eadmer of Canterbury and will soon finish a book on the importance of the past in the community of St Cuthbert in medieval Durham.
