Charlie Beckett

Professor Charlie Beckett is director of Polis, the journalism think-tank at the LSE. He is also currently head of the Department of media and Communications at the LSE. He has 20 years' experience of international journalism at the BBC and ITN's Channel 4 News. He is the author of 'SuperMedia: saving journalism so it can save the world' and 'WikiLeaks: News In The Networked Era'. He is a specialist in media change: how the news media is changing and the rise of online journalism and citizen journalism.
