Lecturer in Management, University of Leicester

Before joining the University of Leicester in March 2015 I held a lectureship in Organisational Behaviour at the University of York. My higher education consists of a BSc in Business Management from the University of East Anglia, and a research masters (MRes) and PhD in management studies both from the University of Essex. I hold a Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice (PGCAP) and I am a fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

My research is within the organisation studies arena exploring the lived experiences of those who may be ‘normal subjects’ within organisational spaces. My research career began with my doctoral thesis that drew on sociological literatures to explore the management of drug taking in and around work, derived from a broader interest in the management of everyday lives and the integration between work and life. I also have a keen interest in research on sport and work.
