Cherie Allan

Dr Cherie Allan is a lecturer in the Faculty of Education at Queensland University of Technology (QUT). She is coordinator/lecturer of several units on children’s & young adult literature and youth popular culture in the post-graduate and undergraduate programs. Her book, Playing with Picturebooks: Postmodernism and the Postmodernesque was published in 2012. Her research interests include many aspects of children’s literature and youth popular culture but her current focus is on digital fiction for children and teens.
