Adjunct Professor at the University of Canberra, University of Canberra

Chris is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Canberra (UC), after more than 20 years as a teacher and researcher in public administration at the University. He also holds an Adjunct Professor position at the University of New South Wales Canberra.

Before coming to UC, Chris held senior positions in the commonwealth public sector. At UC he served as Head of School of Management & Policy and Director of the Centre for Research in Public Sector Management (CRPSM) and Professor at the Institute for Governance and Policy Analysis.

He maintains an active research profile having now co-edited six books involving members of CRPSM and the Institute. The most recent is From Abbott to Turnbull, the twelfth volume in the Australian Commonwealth Administration series which has mapped each of Australia’s governments since 1983. Chris has also published widely in both Australian and international books and journals focusing in particular on issues of privatisation and outsourcing and on integrity in government.
