Associate Professor of Political Science, Bucknell University

Christopher Ellis is currently an Associate Professor of Political Science at Bucknell University. He earned his Ph.D from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. His research interests include public opinion and political representation in American politics. By using quantitative analysis on national surveys, Ellis looks for predictors and factors for public opinion. Additionally, he also creates and conducts surveys.

He is the co-author of Ideology in America (2012, Cambridge University press), and has published in a variety of professional journals, including the Journal of Politics, American Politics Research, Political Behavior, Political Research Quarterly, and Electoral Studies. At Bucknell, he teaches courses on American Politics, Media and Politics, and Public Opinion.
