I am mostly interested in understanding what ideas the greatest authors among the Classics tried to convey. That is why I mainly deal with Thucydides and his contemporaries, assuming there is still a lot of work to do.

My broader fields of interest are f.e. Ancient International Relations, the Sea as a space of political interest, and modern receptions of ancient authors.
