Christiane Job McIntosh

Acting Assistant Scientific Director Critical Care Strategic Clinical Network, Alberta Health Services and Senior Research Associate, University of Calgary

Dr. Job McIntosh is a Senior Research Associate and Acting Assistant Scientific Director of Alberta Health Services’ Critical Care Strategic Clinical Network. She received her PhD in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary. Christiane’s research background represents a variety of interests – Kinesiology, Sociology, Mixed Methods, Narrative Inquiry, Recreation, Health and Sport Policy. Her interest in critical care began in 2006 after a family member was struck by a motor vehicle in a crosswalk and spent a significant amount of time in the ICU. Their recovery has prompted a special interest in patient and family experiences in health care, frailty, mobility and post ICU syndrome.
