Christina Barton

Managing Director, Blue Dinosaur, University of Technology Sydney

After completing her Undergraduate Degree in Tourism Management at the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) in 2009, Christina was offered the opportunity to complete an Honours Degree. Christina's Honours research focussed on Corporate Social Responsibility in Small and Medium Tourism Enterprises. Christina received First Class Honours for her thesis.

She has also worked as a Research Assistant with Dr Deborah Edwards (UTS) on several tourism research projects, and did some casual tutoring in undergraduate and postgraduate subjects for students in the UTS School of Leisure, Sport and Tourism in semester 1, 2011.

For two years Christina worked as a Sales Research Executive at Business Events Sydney, identifying international business events and assessing their potential to be held in Sydney or NSW.

She now runs her own business with her partner, called Blue Dinosaur, manufacturing and selling Paleo Bars.
