Christine Ure

Alfred Deakin Professor Christine Ure researches teacher education, teacher professional learning and schooling. Her recent and previous roles have been Executive Dean, Faculty of Arts and Education and Head of School of Education at Deakin University. She has led developments in the design and delivery of teacher education and promoted discussion and reviews in education through previous roles as President of the Victorian Council of Deans of Education (VCDE), board member of the Australian Council of Deans of Education (ACDE), membership of the Victorian Government Teacher Supply and Demand Reference Group, and the Minister’s Expert Panel for Schools.
