I graduated with an MSc in Plant Science from Yangzhou University, China in 1992, and gained a PhD in Plant Molecular Biology from the University of Nottingham in 1999. Following postdoc positions at the University of Wales in Bangor and the University of Bristol, I took up current post as a Lecturer in Integrative Systems Biology in 2007.
