Clare JM Burns

Assistant Professor at the Bond Business School in management with a focus on strategy, organisational culture, and corporate sustainability. My research areas also include Indigenous finance, student retention, and responsible leadership - in particular the role of directors.

Outside of teaching I am a board member for Rosies Friends on the Street and volunteer in their youth detention program and on the streets. Also involved in a number of other community activities at both a strategic and practical level.

Prior to going back to full time study worked in industry for 18 years: communications, media, marketing, management, and organisational development for large corporate, government and not-for profit in Australia and overseas.
