Post-doctoral Research Assistant, University of Glasgow

Connor Bamford is a postdoctoral researcher at the MRC-University of Glasgow Centre for Virus Research in the UK where works on the cell biology of hepatitis C virus, an important human pathogen. He obtained his PhD in molecular virology at Queen's University, Belfast where he investigated the mumps virus. When not at the lab bench, he is interested in all forms of science communication and public engagement. Connor is also a Society for General Microbiology 'Champion'.
