Associate Professor Implementation Science, JBI, University of Adelaide

My Ph.D was in research methods, with a focus on epistemology and ontology in systematic reviews, I have since focused on methods and methodology for systematic reviews, knowledge translation and implementation. My specialty area is the creation of evidence briefs for practicing health professionals, especially those working at the point of care to ensure they have access to the best available evidence on clinically important topics. Rather than expecting clinicians to stay up to date by reading primary studies, i identify, appraise, and then summarise high quality studies in to single, accessible documents which are peer reviewed before being disseminated globally. I also study and report on effective methods for disseminating (communicating) research findings to practicing health professionals.
