Dan Hasson has been working as a researcher for the last 14 years. He did his PhD in stress management and health promotion at Uppsala university and is an associate professor at the Karolinska Institute.

Today he is an affiliated researcher to the Stress Research Institute at Stockholm University and works as the CEO of Interactive Health Group. His self-help tool www.healthwatch.se has scientifically validated effects both biologically and psychologically. It is used today by some multi-national companies in order to promote health, wellbeing and a healthy work environment, but is free of charge to individuals.

In May 2004 Dan Hasson’s web-based program for stress management and health promotion won an honourable mention in the prestigious contest "eHealth awards" arranged by the EU-commission. HealthWatch is a web-based self-help tool for stress management and health promotion that was developed with my doctoral project.
