Scientist - X-ray Fluorescence Microscopy, Australian Synchrotron

Daryl Howard has a MSc from the University of Guelph and PhD in chemistry from the University of Otago. His PhD research specialised in infrared and near-infrared spectroscopy complemented with computational chemistry methods. Since joining the Australian Synchrotron, his research interests now include large area elemental mapping and XANES imaging techniques applied to a variety of sample types including cultural materials.
