Dave Elder-Vass

I study the social world including the economy, how it works and how it could work differently. I'm not a fan of disciplinary boundaries but my work touches on social theory, economic sociology, social ontology and political economy. I teach sociology and the digital economy.

Before I became an academic I was briefly an economist, then a computer programmer and for many years an IT manager, mostly in the private sector.
