David Cross

I'm a Lecturer in Human Resource Management and Organisational Behaviour at Southampton Business School, University of Southampton.

My work focusses on independent consultants - knowledge workers who are self-employed and work freelance for a variety of clients across a range of fields.

Educationally, before my PhD I gained a Masters with Distinction in Management from the University of Bath and have a BA (Hons) in History and Sociology from the University of Warwick.

I am a former commissioned officer in the Royal Air Force and have worked as a project and performance improvement officer for Avon and Somerset Constabulary.
