Over fifteen years working across national law enforcement and national security, Dr Dave Lacey is a Senior Research Fellow at the University of the Sunshine Coast specialising in identity security. Dave is also a Director and founder of iDcare, the recently government launched national identity support service for Australia and New Zealand. Dave specialises in researching organisational response to online and physical personal information compromise, such as hacking, phishing and malware. His work with iDcare ensures that his research maintains a community and individual focus. Dave advises government, industry and community groups on how to build their identity resilience, and through iDcare, provides individuals across the community with a free and anonymous service to directly assist them in responding to current and emerging threats.
