Senior Lecturer in Education, Liverpool Hope University

I joined Liverpool Hope from Cornell University, where I was working on research in the area of privacy-awareness among users of online communication media. I am interested in the ethical issues around new learning technologies, and am co-editor of a forthcoming special issue of Studies in Philosophy and Education on digital pedagogies. I also have a background in ethnographic work on religious education in schools, and am interested in the current debate around British Values, tolerance and religious values in schools. I am interested in supervising doctoral students in the areas of school governance, citizenship and social cohesion, and the spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of young people. More information on my recent publications and research interests can be found on my website: http://davidlundie.wordpress.com.
