David Perkins

Professor David Perkins is the Director and Professor of Rural Health Research at the Centre for Rural
and Remote Mental Health, University of Newcastle. He has extensive research experience in Mental
Health Services, Rural Suicide Prevention, Public Health, Rural Health and Primary Health Care.
Professor Perkins is a Co-Director of the International Foundation for Integrated Care Australia. Professor Perkins is on the Editorial Board for the International Journal of Integrated Care and was the Editor in Chief of the
Australian Journal of Rural Health from 2011 to 2016.
