Defne GONENC obtained her PhD in Political Science & International Relations from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva. She holds her MPhil from the University of Cambridge & her BSc from the Middle East Technical University. She works on environmental politics and justice with a focus on Turkey and India.
