Denis Guiot is Professor of Marketing at Université Paris-Dauphine and since 2013 heads the DRM-Ermes marketing research team which includes 14 faculties and 20 PhD students. He is currently scientific coordinator for Dauphine on the ACCRA project (Agile Co-Creation of Robots for Ageing) funded by the European Commission (Budget for Dauphine: 360,000 €)
He was previously scientific coordinator for Dauphine on the AMISURE project financed by the Single Inter-Ministry Fund (FUI) (Budget for Dauphine: 348,000 €) (2012-2015)
His main research area is consumer behavior, especially the influence of time on consumption applied both to individuals and objects. He mainly developed research on Marketing to older consumers and motivations for purchasing used items.

Denis is a member of the Association Française du Marketing (AFM) and the Association for Consumer Research (ACR). His research has been accepted for publication in the Journal of Retailing (2010), Psychology & Marketing (2002, 2011), Recherche et Applications en Marketing (2001, 2006, 2008, 2013, 2018), Décisions Marketing (1999, 2001, 2006, 2007, 2012, 2014) and Revue Française du Marketing (2015).
