Diane Hanano

Diane is a Research Manager at the Pacific Centre for Isotopic and Geochemical Research at the University of British Columbia, where she also coordinates the BeeHIVE Research Excellence Cluster. Her role includes scientific program/project management, research partnerships, industry collaboration, grant facilitation, education/outreach, communications and public relations. She currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Canadian Federation of Earth Sciences and has previously worked for the International Ocean Discovery Program (Canada), the Multidisciplinary Applied Geochemistry Network, Geoscience BC and Mira Geoscience. Diane completed her BScH (2004) in Geology & Oceanography and MSc (2008) in Geochemistry at the University of British Columbia.
