Researcher-Program coordinator, Habib University

Donna works in academia and holds five years of work experience in humanitarian aid.
She is the Program Coordinator for Social Development and Policy at the School of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences at Habib University.

In her role, she connects and leads students with external stakeholders as part of their practicum requirement and is associated with program building, center activities and events, and facilitating program needs. Donna has also worked in Pakistan and Afghanistan.

During her service, she worked across the two countries and has extensive field experience. In Afghanistan, Donna worked to enhance enrollment rates for girls’ education, improve food security for farmers, and develop maternal and health care awareness among communities in the provinces of Laghman and Nangarhar. In 2014, Donna brought Karachi’s first ever Street Store to communities in Ratti Lines as part of an initiative to give back to communities in distress and providing them a free shopping experience.

Her future projects include researching and preserving the Spirit of the Karachi Goan Community in present times.
