Dorukalp Durmus

Assistant professor, University of Sydney

Dr Alp Durmus is an Assistant Professor at the Penn State University. His research interests include colorimetry, the visual appearance of architectural spaces, light optimisation, intelligent lighting systems, and energy efficiency.

He is currently investigating the impact of chromatic adaptation and spatial resolution in optimised lighting systems. He is lecturing at the Illumination Design program at the University of Sydney, and continue to work as a lighting designer.
