Senior lecturer, University of Surrey

Dr Devendra Saroj is a Senior Lecturer in Water and Environmental Engineering at the University of Surrey. Before joining Surrey, he worked as a Lecturer in Urban Water and Sanitation at the UNESCO-IHE Institute of Water Education (Delft, Netherlands). Dr Saroj has carried out significant international research activities (including in India, Italy, Switzerland, and Netherlands). He is based in the Centre for Environmental Health Engineering (CEHE), a research centre within the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Surrey, is a designated World Health Organization (WHO) Collaborating Centre for the Protection of Water Quality and Human Health (with the Robens Centre for Public and Environmental Health). The centre is part of the UNICEF WASH cluster group of relief agencies as a centre of excellence in water and sanitation.
