A/Prof Dragan Ilic is an education-focused academic at the School of Public Health & Preventive Medicine (SPHPM), Monash University. A/Prof Ilic heads the Evidence Based Practice (EBP) program at the SPHPM, which is taught into the MBBS and BHSc degrees at Monash University.

In addition to his teaching commitments, A/Prof Ilic has keen research interests in medical education and in men's health. Over the years he has led a variety of public health and health services research projects across numerous men's health issues including prostate cancer, erectile dysfunction, male infertility and androgen deficiency. A/Prof Ilic also has a strong research agenda in medical education encompassing the development, implementation and evaluation of education strategies.

A/Prof Ilic also sits on a variety on NHMRC research panels and other University affiliated research panels and teaching committees.
