Research Project Manager in Critical Raw Materials and Responsible Mining, University of Exeter

My interests are in socially responsible mining, placer gold operations, ASM (artisanal and small-scale mining), and mining wastes.

I work at the Camborne School of Mines (at the University of Exeter) as project manager of HiTech AlkCarb, a project of 12 international partners making a step-change in the exploration for critical raw materials. HiTech AlkCarb is developing new geomodels and advancing the techniques used to discover rare earth elements, niobium, scandium, and other technology metals within carbonatites and alkaline provinces.
