Ebrahim Jahanshiri

I am interested in open access and open source software, especially in the field of geography and its application in agriculture, engineering and statistics. My research interests are big data in agriculture, spatial statistics and soil science. I am particularly keen to follow the open data movement in science and its tremendous benefits to solve real life challenges such as food and nutrition security, climate change and social problems. I am also interested in data standards and sharing protocols across disciplines as a side benefit of open science movement.
