Edmund T Gordon

Edmund T. Gordon is the Vice President for Diversity and Associate Professor of African and African Diaspora Studies Department at the University of Texas at Austin. His teaching and research interests include: Culture and power in the Black Diaspora, gender studies (particularly patriarchy and black men), critical race theory, race education, and the racial economy of space and resources. He currently is a Trustee of the AISD School Board serving D1 East and Northeast Austin.
